The most divisive movie of the year is…Thor 4?
Man, the discourse on this movie has been weird. People are either staunchly defending every aspect of it like their lives depend on it or they’re ripping it to shreds and proclaiming that it spells doom for Marvel and Disney.
My opinion wasn’t as wild as all that. Here’s my review.
Is Wonder Woman 1984 any good?
I reviewed Wonder Woman 1984 and On the Rocks for Trashwire. You can find the reviews here.
Learning new things during the pandemic
Let’s face it, things are pretty horrible right now between the coronavirus crisis and the growing civil unrest as America starts to reckon with its history of systemic racism. If you’re like me, when you need a break from all the anger and gloom, you binge watch TV shows on your favorite streaming services. You also attempt to do something creative or learn a new skill as a pick-me-up when things are on fire in the world around you. I wanted to learn basic video editing and create some new content for Trashwire, and the result is this little video I made about three great comic book shows I’ve loved.
This is my first attempt at one of these video reviews, so feedback is welcome. Feel free to leave a comment on YouTube or tweet me if you loved it or even if you hated it.
Stay safe out there, wear your mask, and let’s try to stay calm and support each other while we all deal with the chaos around us.
My ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ non-spoiler review is on Trashwire
I think this review took longer to write than anything I’ve ever posted! I had a lot of thoughts about this movie, and even then I didn’t really explore all of them, but here’s my review of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Also, I’ve proven that I’m the biggest nerd by talking about gravitational lensing in a Star Wars review.
