This month’s featured freebie is one of my most popular brushes, Copy Cat. It was one of the first brushes I made way back when I first started experimenting with brush creation in Procreate. Copy Cat is like Shady Lady, but with a cool texture that gives it a chalk or pencil feel. Download it for free here.

I made the Blobby brush two years ago (almost down to the day) and loved it immediately. In fact, it was probably my first favorite brush. It’s pressure sensitive and it has a kind of globby texture that I wanted to use in everything…all the time…forever. I still use it a lot when I’m just doodling or sketching ideas. So naturally, when it came time for the March featured free Procreate brush, I knew just the one I wanted to share.

This month’s featured freebie is Painted Heart. It’s a stamp-style brush with an organic texture like it was painted with a paintbrush. It will make a scattering of hearts of different sizes, but you can also adjust the size with the slider and add individual hearts with a tap. It will work with the Apple Pencil or use it without a stylus and just tap with your finger. Download it free here. It’s no secret that everyone loves the symmetry tool in Procreate. It’s easily one of their best new features. I recently created some fun Halloween coloring pages using symmetry. The first is a bunch of Halloween items, skulls, pumpkins, spider webs, all that jazz. The second is a blank skull template that you can use to create some amazing sugar skulls.
