Because I’m the proud owner of a sweet new camera, this weekend, I took a walk around Downtown Denver taking pics of whatever caught my eye. The result was this photo collection:

I’ve lived in Denver since 2006, but this was my first time heading down to Civic Center Park to see the fireworks. I figured it was a great opportunity to try out my new camera. I snapped a bunch of pics and uploaded them to Flickr (which I’m trying to get fully into) but you can check them out right here:

If you take a look at this quick video clip I took from my balcony, you can get an idea of the gigantic storm slamming Denver right now.

I have been a fan of the Whitest Kids U’Know since back in the day when the series was on Fuse. Trashwire even featured a piece about the evolution of tv sketch comedy focusing on WKUK as well as other sketch shows like Human Giant and the short-lived Acceptable TV. Last Monday, I capped off an outrageously fun weekend by heading to the Oriental Theatre in Denver where all five members of the Whitest Kids U’Know were performing live…..

I was browsing my Google Alerts at work today and I saw this video from Eden Lane of Colorado Outspoken. Eden was one of the fantastic members of the press on the the Red Carpet for our Opening Night presentation of The Brothers Bloom at the Starz Denver Film Festival this past November.

If you look closely, you can see me and my friend (and fellow publicist) Rachael in the background working the carpet and walking filmmakers to their interviews. Check it out for sure!
