This blog is the thoughts and ramblings of Alexis Gentry, the creator and editor of Trashwire.com, a pop culture website. The blog gets its name from an Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode called “T-Shirt of the Dead” in which Meatwad wears an ancient t-shirt and gets supernatural powers. When Frylock and Shake try to get him to stop abusing his powers, he replies, “Don’t you talk ugly to me!”

In May, Alexis was named one of Denver’s “Ten Local Lady Bloggers You Should Know About” by Examiner.com. Her writing has also been published in the Denver Daily News, YourHub.com by the Denver Post/Rocky Mountain News, and several websites. She was most recently quoted in the New York Post’s Page Six.

Aside from writing, Alexis works as the Advertising Manager for the Denver Film Society. She was formerly the Communications Coordinator for the Colorado Film Commission.
