After getting about 3 hours of sleep the entire weekend, I finally launched the brand spankin’ new redesign on Trashwire.com.

I scoured the internet looking for the coolest WordPress themes and finally settled on a fantastic magazine theme by Gabfire. I made a few alterations, which took forever since I’m definitely not a PHP genius, and I was able to customize it to fit Trashwire.

This part is filled with technical stuff, so it might be boring for non-nerds….

I validated the code and added a twitter badge to the front page. I also threw in a larger slideshow for those who actually want to be able to make out the images. This version of the site should be faster to load too.

I’m still looking to get a new logo, since the little trash can on the side of the header is a little too basic for my taste. If there are any graphics peeps out there that wanna hook me up, I’ll give you a link on the blogroll.
